Just Love: A Framework for Christian Sexual Ethics

 

 

 

 

Professor Margaret A. Farley will discuss her recent book, Just Love: A Framework for Christian Sexual Ethics which proposes a framework for sexual ethics whereby justice is the criterion for all loving, including love that is related to sexual activity and relationships.

She is the author or co-editor of seven books and hundreds of articles and book chapters and is the recipient of a variety of fellowships and awards, including the 2008 Grawemeyer Award in Religion for her book, Just Love.

Professor Farley was a founding member of Yale-New Haven Hospital's Bioethics Committee and served for eight years as co-director of the Yale University Interdisciplinary Bioethics Center. She is currently co-director of the All-Africa Conference: Sister to Sister, which facilitates responses to HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.
